7 Champions Won By RpMerleon Studios Tonight!

News Summary:

Astounding final dance competition results put RpMerleon Studios’ students on the champion podium 7 times tonight! Kenneth & Jing Hua dominated the Pre-Medallist Standard section, winning all 5 standard dances (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep) after knocking out many extremely strong competitors in the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals & Final rounds. All these achievements despite Jing Hua not feeling well.

More incredible was that Jing Hua only completed learning all 5 Standard dances less than a month ago. To top it off, they managed to obtain first runner-ups for Pre-Medallist Slow Waltz & Quickstep just recently in the December 2009 competition which was Jing Hua’s first ever Standard competition.

News Content:

Having recently just flushed from having won the champion position for Medallist Cha Cha and first runner-ups for 3 other Medallist Latin events in December 2009 competition, they did pretty well this time by obtaining second position for Pre-Novice Jive plus third for Pre-Novice Cha Cha with completely new routines within 2 months.

Marjorie also did us proud by winning the Solo Latin categories in Rumba & Cha Cha. Do look out as she will be competing with her fiancée in partner Latin categories soon! Cheng Wei & Kai Xin, Michael & Marianne, Steven & Rita and Agnes showed great improvements in their dancing and no doubt will get even better.

RpMerleon's Dance Director Ms Pele Lim (林蓓蕾) was also honoured to be one of the esteemed judges of the competition.
